I built Island Prosperity Solutions because I lived both sides of this problem — and I knew exactly how to solve it.

Growing up in Jamaica, I watched talented, driven professionals struggle to find work that matched their abilities. The cost of living was rising steadily while wages stayed flat and quality employment remained scarce — not because the talent wasn't there, but because the opportunities weren't.

After relocating to the United States, I spent several years working across professional office environments in administrative, operational, and client-facing roles. That experience gave me an inside view of what US businesses genuinely need — and what they consistently struggle to afford. Skilled sales professionals, dedicated operations support, reliable administrative staff — the demand was real, but the cost of US-based hiring put it out of reach for most growing businesses.

The connection was clear. Jamaica has an abundance of educated, English-speaking, professionally capable talent. US businesses have an abundance of need and limited budget. Yes — IPS contractors are primarily based in Jamaica, where English is the official language and the language of business. As IPS grows across the Caribbean, all talent markets we recruit from are English-speaking as a non-negotiable requirement. Our professionals are raised speaking English natively, are culturally familiar with US business standards, and communicate with the same clarity and professionalism your clients expect. What time zone do your contractors work in? +
Jamaica operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST) year-round with no daylight saving adjustment. This means your rep works fully within US business hours — available when your leads are active, your clients are calling, and your business needs them most. No overnight handoffs, no time zone friction.
How quickly can we get started? +
After your discovery call and signed service agreement, we aim to have your dedicated rep fully onboarded and operational within one week — often sooner as we scale. This includes rep matching, role-specific training, tool setup, and a review period where you approve the rep before going live. We prioritise getting things right over getting things fast — a properly onboarded rep delivers better results from day one.
What happens if I am not satisfied with my rep? +
We offer a replacement guarantee. If your rep is not meeting expectations for any reason, notify the IPS team and we will begin the replacement process immediately — with a new rep matched and onboarded within 48 to 72 hours. We monitor rep performance proactively so issues are usually caught and addressed before they reach the client. Your satisfaction is not optional for us — it is what keeps the business running.
Are these contractors or employees? +
All IPS professionals are independent contractors, not employees of Island Prosperity Solutions or of your business. You engage IPS under a service agreement — IPS then assigns a trained contractor to fulfil the scope of work. This structure protects you from employment liability, payroll complexity, and benefits overhead. You direct the work; IPS manages the contractor relationship.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract? +
IPS offers both short-term and long-term engagement options. All clients sign a service agreement so both parties have clarity on scope, expectations, and terms — this protects you as much as it protects us. We offer flexible month-to-month arrangements as well as longer-term agreements for clients who want pricing stability and priority rep access. We will recommend the right structure on your discovery call based on your business needs.
How do I manage and communicate with my rep? +
You communicate with your rep directly — through Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, or whatever communication platform your business already uses. IPS adapts to your preferred tools, not the other way around. You direct their daily tasks and priorities. IPS sits in the background handling quality oversight, performance monitoring, and any HR-related matters. You get the benefit of a dedicated team member without the management overhead of being their employer.
What tools and software can your reps work with? +
Our contractors are trained across the most widely used business platforms — including GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, Close CRM, QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto, Trello, Asana, Notion, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and more. If your business uses a specific tool not on that list, we include platform training as part of the onboarding process so your rep is proficient before their first day.
How is billing handled? +
You pay Island Prosperity Solutions LLC directly via a flat monthly invoice — no per-hour billing, no surprise fees, no platform markups. IPS handles all contractor compensation internally. Invoices are issued at the start of each month with payment due within 7 business days. We accept ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, and major credit cards.
Can I hire more than one rep or combine services? +
Absolutely. Many IPS clients run multiple reps across different functions — for example a sales closer and an executive VA running simultaneously. We also build custom hybrid packages for clients whose needs span more than one service area. If your requirements go beyond our standard tiers, reach out directly and we will put together a custom proposal tailored to your business.
